Sculpture and reliefs in glass

September13th - October 26th

Chris Wood lives and works in the Cambridgeshire fens. Her work is an exploration of the visual and physical qualities of light through the medium of glass, and includes smaller pieces for sale as well as architectural glass to commission. She is currently working on a major work for the new Joint Services Building in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire. Wood exhibits nationally and gained international recognition in 2000 when selected for the New Glass Review, an international competition organised by Corning Museum of Glass, New York.

Chris Wood gained a first class honours degree in furniture design as a mature student, and an MA in Glass from the Royal College of Art. She is now a successful professional artist exhibiting in galleries and undertaking commissions for architectural glass.

Chris Wood will be showing new work commissioned for this exhibition in both the gallery and in the garden. All works will be for sale.
