Fermynwoods is a not-for-profit art organisation
in a beautiful rural location in Northamptonshire,
a place where you can enjoy contemporary art in tranquil indoor and garden settings.

Promoting contemporary art
Fermynwoods was established by Rosalind Stoddart and Patrick Duerden in 1998. Rosalind is herself a practicing sculptor and printmaker, who saw the need for a facility to promote contemporary visual art in the region. From the outset it was our intention to bring work of quality and significance to a wide audience.

•	Fermynwoods is open from 2pm till 6pm every Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday and by appointment during our open season, March to end of October. Please look under exhibition section for further information.
•	Fermynwoods has an education programme – please see Courses and Events page. We can also arrange extra workshops in printmaking, drawing or in a wide range of other areas tailored to meet the requirements of individuals, schools or small groups.
•	Fermynwoods also does projects at other venues such as at Adrenaline Alley in Corby and on the Forestry Commission land at Fermyn Woods near Brigstock.

International quality
We specialise in work by artists of national and international standing, but also promote the work of artists who may be less well known, which we believe to be of comparable quality. We are interested in the northern European tradition of geometric abstraction and in recent British painting and sculpture. Fermynwoods also deals with fine art prints; we hold the archive of Birgit Skiöld, the renowned Swedish printmaker.

Fermynwoods gallery space is domestic in character, being situated within our home. We offer a friendly, approachable and personal service with an emphasis on achieving consistent quality in everything we do. We are always keen to meet and discuss your needs and ideas.
