The exhibition Peter Randall-Page: New Sculpture opens at Lyveden
New Bield on Friday 16 June and runs through to Sunday 24 September.
This is the first exhibition of sculpture in Northamptonshire by
internationally renowned artist Peter Randall-Page, with new work
specially made for historic Lyveden New Bield, using limestone from
north Northamptonshire.

Hidden Tracks

Fermynwoods and Lyveden will be linked
throughout the summer with a unique sound experience called
Hidden Tracks: Friday 26 May - Sunday 24 September
Take a walk through the beautiful countryside
between Fermynwoods Gallery and Lyveden New Bield and discover the
area's secrets as you go.
Using an MP3 player and a map, Hidden Tracks presents
the history of a rural village and its surrounding woodland and
fields in a new and unique way.
The Hidden Tracks audio tour can be experienced
independently at any time by down loading the track from:
www.hiddentracks.co.uk,
or come to the gallery or Lyveden New Bield at their opening times
and borrow an MP3.
Also Hidden Tracks offers Event Days that will provide a chance
to experience the tour (from Fermynwoods Gallery to Lyveden New
Bield) in a group environment with performers, a picnic and a minibus
back to Fermynwoods.
Saturday 15 July = Evening Walk, starts at 7.00pm

Saturday 22 July = Oundle Festival, 2pm start

Wednesday 26 July = Event for 12 to 16 year olds,
starts at 2pm

(Weekend Walk and Stay Over)
On the weekend of 16 September come to stay
at the Wheatsheaf Pub in Upper Benefield for one night with dinner
& breakfast included- do the walk on Saturday lunch time (with
picnic included) all for £105 for two people! -
£99 for a double room for Saturday night and £6 for walk.
So turn up at the pub mid morning, then
be collected from pub by mini bus and taken to gallery to start
the walk. Walk from 12 midday on a led tour with MP3s to Lyveden
New Bield and be picked up from Lyveden New Bield by mini bus and
taken back to pub.
A walk with a difference.......music, sound, prose and performances
on route to learn about the area in a new and
exciting way!
Have that weekend break to get out into the
countryside once the schools have gone back and eat local food and
breath in the fresh air and take exercise with a new twist.
