This exhibition features a series of artists
prints published by Hope Sufferance Press, including work by Prunella
Clough, Anthony Benjamin, Matthew Radford, June Redfern, Pete Kosowicz
and Simon Marsh.
The press takes its name from its former home
at a Rotherhithe wharf on the south bank of the river Thames where
it was founded in 1988. Since then it has moved premises to Camberwell
and has earned an excellent reputation for quality and innovation.
It has been chosen by many dealers (including Marlborough Fine Art,
Purdy Hicks Gallery and Flowers East), publishers and museums to
work with a distinguished company of artists, including Anish Kapoor,
Anthony Gormley, Victor Pasmore and Marc Quinn. They have two large
studios equipped with excellent facilities to specialise in high
quality etchings, woodcuts, carborundum prints and monoprints
We are also holding a series of workshops and
talks to coincide with the Hope Sufferance Press print exhibition.
See the Courses
and events section for more information.
