Tango Schumann

To coincide with the Double Signature exhibition looking at the artist collaboration, former Royal Ballet Dancer & Performance Artist, Anthony Howell was invited to bring his Tango Schumann performance to Brigstock Village Hall.

Howell & his collaborating dance partner Lindi Köpke performed a unique form of Tango, where all reference to Latin American origins were stripped from the dance by interpreting a repertoire including Capelleti’s Danse IV & Schumann’s Bird As Prophet.

Howell & Köpke also led a class in Tango Technique for the local public.
