As part of his residency in 2009, and again through popular demand in 2010, Artist and Woodsman Martin Prothero led unique Dusk till Dawn events in the forest. Staying overnight in the Danish Shelters within Fermyn Woods, studing the trees and animal tracks within the locality, groups were invited to experience nature by following tracks and identifying animals by their calls.

With a delicious meal specially prepared by Martin using ingredients found in the forest, participants slept in the woods before trying their hand at fire by friction the following morning.
