Hansel & Gretel

In 2008 Fermywoods commissioned artist collective Watch This Space to create a series of audio walks from Fermyn Woods Country Park to Sudborough Green Lodge to see the Richard Woods’ installation Stone Clad Cottages.

Drawing on the resemblance of Woods’ installation to a house of sweets tucked away in the forest, Watch This Space devised a modern day re-interpretation of the Hansel & Gretel tale, which was experienced by participants wearing mp3 players & encountering a variety of characters on route.
