Kenneth James Martin

March – April 2011

Kenneth James Martin led a second workshop with William Knibb students during March and April, this time sharing woodland survival skills and more traditional craft based practices that he has been refining during his caretaking of Sudborough Green Lodge.

Students explored den building, teepee making and spoon carving, as well as fire by friction, and creating crayons from natural materials. The end result was a more considered relationship with the natural environment in Fermyn Woods.
