Corby Community Arts

January – February 2011

Kate Dyer and Lorraine Dziarkowska from Corby Community Arts worked with students exploring Fermyn Woods through digital photography. Using a variety of cameras, lenses and techniques students were able to document their time in the woods and at Sudborough Green Lodge, before producing high quality publications using desktop publishing software.

Many of the students involved had not experienced rural nature like this before, encountering Sheep, Pheasants, Red Kites and other species. They also introduced some of their own urban experiences to location such as BMX riding.

Corby Community Arts have a long history of delivering community arts programmes in and around the area.
