Ceramicist Nita Nathwani shared her contemporary approach to ceramics with the students, offering the opportunity to create a variety of sculptural forms, some fired in the wood burner at Sudborough Green Lodge.
The group investigated repeat patterns, surface texture, flashes of bright colour and a variety of clays, exploring a range of form and surface decoration techniques and designs including sgrafitto, lino cuts and decals.
