In addition to Alex’s Tree Listening Installation, many members of the public & several local schools, including Maplefields Special Educational Needs School, Corby Business Academy, Studfall Junior School, & Millbrook Infants School, were invited to take part in Tree Listening Workshops with Alex.

Using worksheets specially designed by Alex, participants explored Fermyn Woods, learning about & identifying various species by their leaves. Groups explored the different sounds shapes & species made when absorbing water, before making scale models of xylem structures.
